Different Adventures in Pasta

Genoa is the home to pesto.....basil pesto.
We are determined and excited to try the different kinds of pasta and sauces available here in pasta capital....Italy.

These photos below are the fresh pasta noodles from the market, that I purchased, with the sauces,  and I prepared at home for dinner.

Trofie Pasta with Basil Pesto
(Thin twisted pasta made of durum wheat and water)
Delicious.



Ravioli with Tomato Meat Sauce
Super delicious.



Caprese Salad.



Ravioli Vecchia Genova con Boraginni 
Salsa di noci is another pesto famous in Genoa made from walnuts.
It was perfect on our ravioli.  Apparently it is also wonderful on gnocchi.



And we are not done yet.....
