It looks like I'm walking with a space martian....lol...but it's my friend Trudi with the sunlight behind her. I'm half way up a huge stair well heading to an exceptional view from above of Vernazza.

The terrane is somewhat rugged and the steps are precarious.

The entire path has exceptional scenery. Vineyards, terrace farming, Vernazza, the sea, flowers, cascading vines.....incredible.
Originally the only way between the villages were mule paths....they have been maintained and is the path we are hiking today.

After about 30 minutes we make it to the viewing spot.
Tired but happy to have done it.
But if we are honest with ourselves, the photo that I would like to get framed is a better view in my opinion. The climb was fantastic.
Some shots of Vernazza with the mountain of terraced farms, vineyards and orchards.
Beautiful blooming trees now obstruct some of the higher views....but still lovely.
