the mountains are completely obscured by the storm system moving into our area.
Even pigeons don't want to fly in that sky.
Not huge waves, but the energy was exhilarating.
Wandering the back streets...with umbrellas ready.

The aquamarine colour of the water is so cool. I'm thinking we might have to grab shelter soon....
One of our new favs....Peter's Pie and Coffee shop....best cappuccino in town in my opinion.
Delicious homemade desserts, vegetarian options, incredible view of the sea. Even on a stormy day.
Best part....they care about stray dogs and cats that hang out near the port. This gentle Labrador is having a nap right at the doorway...the waiter just steps around him. The other kittens, which you can't see, have two warm baskets to choose from to keep warm. Rest assured they feed them too.

As we sat...the storm came right across the sea...not the best photos...but shows how quick and thick the storm was as we sat at the cafe.

A wee wet day....even for little birds.
Storm coming down the mountain. Ducking into the cafe just in time to avoid the torrential rain that opened up above us. Yikes.
The storm is passing by....the sun is slowly peeking out from behind these sinister clouds.....
Rain doesn't keep us indoors.....
