To The Left To The Left....Heading To The Savina Monastery

Today the weather network is calling for a beautiful sunny day...all day.
Perfect day for a hike to the nearest Monastery to us....the Savina Monastery.
We head south or left at our Port towards the mountains.
But it is only about a two kilometer walk....a glorious day and off we go.

So much to photograph along the walk.  I am sure I was a cat in another life...because of my bird addiction....I love them.

This photo may not exactly show what the sea has done over years to the rocks on the shore.  To say they are smooth is an understatement.  Moulded like clay is more of what I witness.  As well as very shiny...almost polished.  Different than anything I have seen in my travels.  Very cool.

Two wee birds that are obviously fed my locals at this spot because I got within two feet of them for this photo.

Beautiful, vibrant colours of flowers.

Deb being attacked by a crazy big cactus.

Lunch time in the village of Savina...we are getting close.  Looking for signs to head up to the Monastery.

Cute as a button.  I'm in love.

Loving this apartment building which equips every unit with a balcony facing the sea.

Savina has incredible mountains towering over it.

Lemons...I wonder if they are ready to pick.

The Port at Savina.  It looked like they are constructing big and longer docks I would guess for the increasing cruise ships visitors.
Now to head up towards the monastery.
