Tucked between Mount Orjen (below) and the Sea (above), which is the entrance way to the Bay of Kotor, just off the Adriatic Sea.
Cruise ships have already found Kotor...and I'll be honest, I'm a little sad about that.
Don't get me wrong, we love to cruise. But historically the mass of tourists into a small port changes these villages forever.
I'm very grateful that we get to see this part of Montenegro before the cruisers find it.
Just a wee walk towards more of a seasonal resort town. No cafes. No shops. Nothing is actually open......but the walk way is quiet and the views.....magnificent.
I could SO have a wee cappuccino here and stare at those snowy mountains all day in this sun.
A bit too far to walk to....thank goodness for my great zoom on my camera.
Massive rocks either already in the sea or have fallen from the mountain into the sea. Seems to stand guard and protect the waters edge.
The sun is beginning to set.....4:30pm is when the darkness descends on us.
Heading home....what a day.
