The Journey Looking For The Bus Station

We have been told by our host, Flavia, that there is an official bus station where we can purchase a bus ticket to Kotor which is where we want to go....on the next sunny Saturday.
We decide to go for just a short walk...not necessarily looking for the bus station but exploring non the less.

Our favourite restaurant...seriously...I am amazed by that view every time I walk by it.

This very simple Orthodox Church is called Crkva Svetog Spasa.
Translated from serbian means Church of the Holy Savior.
Built in 1513, it has a cemetery located behind it.  An incredible feat when you see that it is founded on such a steep slope.

To the left of the church entrance is a candle stand.  Very simple.

The alter inside the church.  It is stunning.  Brilliant gold panels in a simple, white, tiny, church.

The entrance to the church and cemetery.

The next three photos are of what I thought was a canopy of flowers passed their prime. But in fact it is a huge vine of.........

.....KIWIS........

......chocked full of kiwis almost ready for harvest.

The view of the cemetery from the top.

More fruit ready...or passed ready....for picking.  My delicious....can't get enough of...sweet and juicy....persimmons.

I could eat these till I get sick they are so good.

We found the bus station.  The young women was extremely helpful in perfect english.  Our plans changed as I came down with a nasty flu bug.....going on my second week sick.  Yucky.
Good thing we are hear for two months.

The views from the bus station......Wow!

......and double Wow!
Now.....fingers crossed...I get better and the weather cooperates with a nice day for travelling to Kotor.
